Crossroads on the VineCrossroads Scholars exhibited a year's worth of artwork at "Crossroads On The Vine" held May 5, 2017 at the American Jazz Museum.

With nearly 600 pieces of artwork on display the growth and talent of Crossroads Artists was evident as visitors could view work from each of Crossroads Scholars from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Crossroads Families were able to experience the event as part of the larger First Friday's at 18th & Vine. Festivities outside included live jazz, local artists, food trucks, and other vendors. Inside, families viewed artwork, and had an opportunity to tour both the American Jazz Museum and
the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.

Visitors were also able to contribute their support through purchase of student artwork, a raffle, and other donations. In all $3,200 was raised for Crossroads Charter Schools. Many thanks to the families and visitors who demonstrated their support of our young artists!

The event gave each of our scholars an opportunity to feel what it is to be a genuine Kansas City Artist with their work on display at a First Friday exhibit! Crossroads Charter Schools is very grateful to the American Jazz Museum for their partnership in hosting this joyful event.
